The Conant High School Sneaker Exchange is taking over, April 26th. The event will take place in the cafeteria from 11am to 4pm. Entry to the event is just $5, and all proceeds will being donated to autism and a school organization. There will be a DJ spinning on the turn-tables as well as refreshments. This makes two consecutive years Nike has created a Elite Youth Basketball League ("EYBL") Elite edition of the KD. The shoe features a multi-color upper that is matched with purple and purple accents. Pastel blue coloring for the KD logo and eyelets complement the printed lining and Swoosh. The KD gets a clean finish with a translucent outsole and "EYBL" stamp on the tongue. The kicks will be worn by participates of this year's youth-basketball tournament. Reebok gears for the release of the Reebok Rail "Spur" colorway. The colorway gains inspiration from Glenn Robinson, who ended his career with the Spurs (their old logo contained teal and pink). The shoe features grey nubuck base, matched with teal and pink. Black accents for branding on the tongue and toebox provide a clean finish, when paired with white on laces, outsole, and lining. Reebok brings back another retro kick with the GL 6000 "Athletic" pack. The pack contains three colorways, navy/red, grey/powder blue, and forest green/ yellow. The kicks feature the same design that were a stamp back in the ’80s, suede and nylon uppers along molded heel caps and layered midsoles. More pictures of the "Athletic" pack after the break.
Altanta boutique shop, Wish, puts a creative touch on the Pony Slam Dunk Hi creating the "Good Fortune" colorway. The kicks features red and black pony hair on the upper falling in place with the zodiac theme. Reflective material on the branding and eyelet trim and an extra dimension, while lacestays reading “Good” and “Fortune” tie it all together (no pun intended). The insole of the shoe also feature Pony and Wish pattern. To add to the exclusivity, six pairs will be packaged in a custom-made wooden boxes that will be given away at the launch event.
